Description The Tiger II is a German heavy tank of the Second World War. The final official German designation was Panzerkampfwagen Tiger Ausf. B, often shortened to Tiger B. The ordnance inventory designation was Sd.Kfz. 182. (Sd.Kfz. 267 and 268 for command vehicles) It is also known under the informal name Königstiger (the German name for the Bengal tiger), often translated literally as Royal Tiger, or somewhat incorrectly as King Tiger by Allied soldiers.

The Tiger II was the successor to the Tiger I, combining the latter's thick armour with the armour sloping used on the Panther medium tank. The tank weighed almost 70 tonnes, and was protected by 100 to 185 mm (3.9 to 7.3 in) of armour to the front. It was armed with the long barrelled 8.8 cm KwK 43 L/71 anti-tank cannon. The chassis was also the basis for the Jagdtiger turretless Jagdpanzer anti-tank vehicle.

The Tiger II was issued to heavy tank battalions of the Army and the Waffen-SS. It was first used in combat by 503rd Heavy Panzer Battalion during the Allied invasion of Normandy on 11 July 1944; on the Eastern Front, the first unit to be outfitted with the Tiger II was the 501st Heavy Panzer Battalion, which by 1 September 1944 listed 25 Tiger IIs operational.

Afrika Korps colors.

Wehrmacht colors.

Found this on JuniorGeneral.Org, and I figured this would go well with my World War II microheroes. Credit for this go to whoever made them on JuniorGeneral.org.

Okay, thanks for the tips, I’ll see what I can do to adjust it; also, could you perhaps take a look at my other German vehicles and see if there’s anything to adjust on them as well? The subfolder they’re in is called WW2 Vehicles, in the primary folder World War II.

Any adjustment tips you could give me would be grateful, as I do plan to reuse the WW2 vehicles I have to go with my WW2 themed GI Joe microheroes, with the German vehicles clearly used by COBRA, in a blue color motif with the big Cobra symbol on the sides; I know blue isn’t an accurate color for the German vehicles, but I figured that if COBRA is fighting for the Nazis, and are used by them, they should at least match the COBRA color motifs, like blue and red

That’s the Tiger II. Not a Tiger I.

Actually, it’s a Tiger I hull with a Tiger II turret. I don’t think it wasn’t present and would be ridiculous if that’s in combat. Would be almost like a Tiger Panther tank hybrid.
