Description
My sister have this race called Element shifters . They are pretty neat, so I asked her if I could make one.
Then we entered a delicate dance where I asked her details about the species trying to not spoil the surprise of my plans for her.
This is the result. Hope you like it!

Here are some info:

Shrapnel, or Nell as he prefers, was born a scorpion. But when he discovered his human form he also discovered the wonder of having hands. Hands is one of the main reasons why he prefers human form. Other reasons include being larger than 30cm and human studies. He generally doesn’t shift around much, as changing from endo- to exoskeleton causes immense pain.

Due to his arachnid heritage many of the mammal based shifters have a hard time understanding him, and he them. To gain a better understanding he studied animal behaviourism at a university and have a PhD.

Nell is not very good in straight combat, but relies on the element of surprise and his wits. People often mistake him for some sort of fire-shifter. Which works to his advantage, as no one expects him to suddenly spew acid over them. He prefers lurking to open combat.

As he is relatively unknown among other shifters, and have a tiny animal form he is used for covert missions.
