this could almost be a cover for some kind of diving story or something...magazine...hehe the light through the water is cool, and the bright colors really bring out whats under the water.

Thanks a lot, guys. I just finished this one yesterday, so it's hot off the presses. Unfortunately I had a tight deadline so I wasn't able to fix up everything I would've liked (mostly in the foreground).
Parasight, you're right about the anenome. They're difficult things to paint, since they have their own luminescence. Shadows aren't where you'd expect them. I think I might try another one someday soon.

I love the color contrast you achieved with this piece. The orange and the bright red on the green-blueish background is just sweet. I also like how many details you put in.
I was just wondering why the orange plant (sorry, I forgot the proper english word) second from left is so unsharp, or better said "smeared", in the middle. It doesn't fit to the rest of the image's style, which is very sharp.
Other that this is beautiful and real eye-candy.

my fav piece yet. (i love the ocean/diving/etc). the style of painting that you have has a great finish. almost watercolory, but more detailed. and good contrast with the colors.

The refractions of the light in the water...oh wow. And the coral reef's color is really nice. This is the most relaxing piece, and I can see why you chose this as a promotional piece.
