Thank you. This is often the reaction, especially in when people can also touch the work. Mind you, when I went with Jeff to the "Clay and Glass Show" people initially thought it was stone... (but it's the "CLAY and GLASS show!" I kept telling myself).

Wow, coming from you that's a huge compliment.
Jeff and I were looking at your gallery yesterday, admiring the high level of skill as well as the wonderful creativity of course.
A few of our artist friends were raised and trained in Eastern Europe, we we mentioned that nothing compares to the training one receives there as an artist. The detail and technique is simply amazing.
If you have a chance, look at the works of Vitel Kruta, I think you can google him and see some of his work.

I really don't understand how you make these! I've been playing around with clay for a large portion of my life but this is just so different! I wish I could watch you make one... I hope you don't mind if I feature your work on my art journal for school?

Please do - Jeff will be delighted. I will see if I can post some photos of Jeff throughout the process - I think it will be cool, since he had taught clay at both Berkeley and MIT.
