This is so cool! I am glad you made it so the head was separate... I thought it would make a cool bottle; even teapot for that matter.

hehe, the piece stands about 40 inches tall
Since these are low fired and unglazed - they are not designed to hold liquid. The general idea behind all the work I sell, is that it is non-functional...that being said - feel free to make a functional version

Oh wow... thanks for the offer. I was actually working on a piece of silver that turns into a necklace that has an interchangeable bead... close to this idea, but not too close. To know these are 40 inches tall really adds perspective! I love the work!!!

Wonderful movement and balance! And the contrasting textures of the carved head, and the super-smooth body are just lovely!

Sometimes I like to add to the contrast by making the body and head in different clays, like red and black. I'll add one of those soon.
