Description I decided to do a drawing that compares the views on the universe over time. This is only a sketch, to reveal something that is thought provoking.

Note: The names of the planets on the last frame are not to be used without my permission. This artwork is my property.

Hey man, I was hoping I could use that 'E****' word. I know it's your property and all but I really need it for my Geography assignment. Is that cool?

I think it goes without saying that Earth is not one of the names unique to this artwork.  But I see what you are saying hehe.

I wonder if God misses his beard and eyebrows...

LOL... Maybe. Actually, the reason for the missing eyebrows and beard is to represent the concept of God's disappearance as an old man to the idea that he is an invisible none gender mind that is everywhere. In the middle he is missing his ears and hair, the last image is a continuation of that. God is not some old man in the clouds looking down, equal to Zeus. God is much greater and more a part of the bigger picture.

Heh heh that last one depends on if you are LDS or not. (please please please don't let this be a trigger. Triggers make me sad...)

Ah, religion is just a touchy subject on the internet.

At any rate, Latter Day Saints (Mormons) believe that God has a perfected body of flesh and blood. He is God because He as achieved absolute knowledge of all things, perfect goodness, and so on. He is essentially the perfect Being. We believe He has created worlds without number, peopled with His children, of which Earth is only one. His Spirit is what permeates all things, and everything that exists testifies of him.

Yeah, sorry for the wall of text...

Religion is not just a touchy subject on the internet, it is a touchy subject everywhere. But yes, God is everywhere and in all things, so having a human body seems rather diminishing and limiting.

Yes, but outside of the internet it seems more likely to come across individuals willing to discuss it civilly.

Human is the limiting keyword there. I'm talking perfected. Would not a perfected being such as God have ways to not be limited by a physical form? Using this same logic NOT having a physical form would also have its limitations. The ultimate, perfected form, capable of literally anything; not a weak, mortal shell.

But if there are many life planets out there, which physical form would he choose? It would most likely not look human at all, since there are probably millions of different forms to take. Something to think about...

We also believe all of His children are created in His image, they too with the potential to achieve perfection.
