Here's a look into what I have been concentrating on with regards to photography these last few years. This is a shot from my cousin's (and our photography business assistant's) modeling portfolio building photo-shoot. Not only is she on pace to be our partner, she has aspirations of being a model. At least, on the side.

I'm particularly happy at how this one turned out. Helps that she's so gorgeous!

We made a 3-ish hour trek from the Detroit area to the Little Sable Point State Park beach located on Lake Michigan for this photo-shoot. As is almost never the case when we're out trying to capture landscapes, we were blessed with some of the softest golden light during this sunset. After about an hour and a half of shooting, we turned around and headed back home. It was also good practice for the wedding we had to photograph her on the following Saturday. While my hobby landscape & nature shots are a bit behind in development (in my mind, at least), I am really happy with how both Jessica and I have grown in our "people" photography. This is good, I guess, as it's our livelihood these days! haha

This was shot with my rusty but trusty old Canon 6D and a 70-200 F4L at 184mm/F4
