Just read your journal, so here's a tip...

I've done a couple of B&W manips like this, and you need to try and match the tones with the girl and the background a more. She sticks out just a little bit too much, i think. And also, when you're either masking, or erasing the backgrounds from pictures, a little bit more time and care maybe, cause you can all down her arm a wavey effect from the tool you were using...Gives it a weird effect...
