Director Tim Burton was out, and now it was Joel Schumacher's turn to helm the next Batman movie. The result was Batman Forever. Arriving in 1995, it marked a return to more of a lighter, campier style, similar to the 60's TV show. Jim Carrey and Tommy Lee Jones played the baddies, each competing to see who could chew more of the scenery. Despite grumblings by comic fans, the movie made a ton of money, and Warners decided to go all in on with this campy style. As we'll see, this proved absolutely disastrous.Related content

Billy Dee Williams was Harvey Dent in Batman (1989) but he was sad that he didn't reprised his role sooner.

10 good things about Batman Forever:
1. Jim Carrey as the Riddler
2. the first time we see Two-Face in live action
3. the batmobile
4. the main theme music
5. Seal
6. Val Kilmer (not as good as Keaton, but better than Clooney)
7. The other Bat Vehicles
8. Robin being introduced
9. Two-face talking as if he's multiple people (very fitting)
10. the fact that the actors who played Alfred and Commissioner Gordon returned

What is the saving grace if the movie.
The answer is The riddler, even you hate that film you had to admit the villian is sold.

This is my favourite part of bat-evolution. The Riddler is so awesome here, despite the fact that the film is just awful.

Jim Carrey was all right as Riddler, but he would've made an awesome Plastic Man. And plus the only upside to this was Seal's "Kiss from a Rose".

Call blasphemy on me, but I like how Two-Face's suit was executed; the plain & flat combined with the wild animal patterns. Is it too bright? Of course, but isn't the point of Two Face his alternate switching personalities?
The face however? I don't think so. The Animated Series face was more effective & deformed.

I actually really like the costumes of two face and riddler in the movie. The pink face is a little much though.

In Riddler's case, I prefer the normal suit instead of the jumpsuit, 'cause it's hard to take seriously... even if it is Jim Carrey playing the role.
It's sort of sad that afterwards, they kept Riddler's normal suit just in plain green, 'cause I like the question marks. Wish they use it more. Only this & the 1960's Riddler had them.
