These are very educational to see. I personally have trouble deciding on compositions, positioning of figures, and patterns of tone in an image, so it's interesting to see how you warm up with these.

Yeah, that's the crux of it... as you add the elements, its gets more and more complex to maintain the core composition.

No sequence in terms of story... you could do it I suppose. Right now though I am just trying to break this part of art down into some sort of science... for me at least.

Hey, Jeff
Great thing, that. I'm very interested in what markers you use/you can recommend!

Currently I use copic. Mostly because they are smooth and subtle in their application. The average variety are much cheaper but they can be very heavy handed. I personally like to layer...

What do you mean by "layer"? Actually layering the marker colors?

Sort of... usually the copic works like water colors. You have to apply it a couple of times to make it dark enough.

Ah, I see.
Does layering also work with Faber Castell? Do you know
something in this direction? Because they are not that
expensive ...

Nice storyboard.
Mostly clear but some bits a bit too ambiguous, overall great effort!

This is actually not a SB. They are just random compositions, so clarity is not a concern, just meant to be interesting to look at (hopefully)! Although I could try it that way for fun!

Oh right! I got the impression it was a story board because of the uniform layout and it seemed to have a flow to it! Still nice though
