Even though Vader has his lightsaber and the force, I heavily doubt that he'll win this match against the likes of Megatron. Megatron himself can use Dark Energon upon Vader because of the fact that he himself is also part machine (remember that Darth Vader has cybernetic limbs, and relies on a breathing apparatus). Also physicality will play another role in this battle. Vader is (and will always be) very slow. Remember the fact that after his battle with Obi- Wan Kenobi, his body is severely damaged because of burns (from the lava on Mustafar) and his body sliced from the legs. He might be still recovering from those wounds despite Palpatine's medical procedures. And compared to Megatron, he's nothing but another fly ready to be squashed. Megatron has centuries of combat experience from being a gladiator of the Kaon Pits, to a tyrannical leader/ general that now leads about over half of Cybertron's population now turned army. He is also good with tactics from his years of fighting, making him very intelligent when it comes to providing strategies in the battlefield. Not to mention that he has fought Zeta Prime and Omega Supreme because of what makes him one of the most feared and powerful Decepticons, his strength, his intellect, and his undying determination of getting what he always want; which is the total destruction of his enemies and his passion of galactic supremacy/ domination. So needless to say, my bet is on Megatron.

vader's got control of the force but even I think he'd have a hard time lifting megsy off the ground plus his armor  really limits his mobility so as much as I love vader and despise megatron I gotta this one to megs cuz that armor won't save him from being crushed like a bug under his foot

Vader's level of power and limitations vary depending on what media he's in, which would make a winner nearly impossible to decide. Vader seems to be at his weakest in the movies (but understandably so) and at his strongest in the games, especially The Force Unleashed II. Furthermore, would Vader use his Tie Advanced? Can a lightsaber cut through a Cybertronian's armor or deflect a fusion cannon blast?

Megatron on the other hand has power over dark energon, which can corrupt nearly any machine and reanimate deceased cybertronians. Vader relies on mechanical equipment to survive and so his immune system may not be able to handle contamination by dark energon. As hit-and-miss as he is, I think the movie Megatron may be a more manageable opponent for Vader. He seems to be at peak physical condition in the first movie.

Megatron, because he is a disciple of the fallen, posseses the strength and cunning of a human kratos, not to mention his fusion cannon will blast vadar to shreds, his Cybertronium armour is thick enough to repell Light saber blades just like the zillo beast from clone wars, plus his battle gladiator sword and because he has the power of DARK ENERGON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
