I finally after a million years updated this boy's application! Good lord. I neglect my son so much ; - ; Thank you everyone who let me use their characters in his element usage...I'm sorry they have to deal with him.

Element Usage
Merxus has the ability to manipulate his shadow and the shadows of inanimate objects. Using his shadow/other shadows he can interact with the world around him, allowing them to take on a corporeal form. These can be used for a multitude of different tasks, ranging for combat to simple daily tasks depending on his needs.

Shadow Claw
Two large shadow claws that are generally used for ground control. They stand at 10ft and are powerful but they are a lot slower than his other abilities. Generally only used in larger area's. These can also be used for defence though usually only if he is shielding other comrades in battle.

Tendrils
His most commonly used ability. He uses three at a time and when used in combat they become sharp as a blade and whip-like in their movements. Fast and deadly, but they don't offer much in the way of defence. They can also be used to bind enemies, wrapping around them and holding them in place. When out of combat they become silky to the touch and can be used for simpler daily tasks, acting like three extra hands.

Shadow Skin
His shadow coats his skin and acts as a layer of armour that helps defend against oncoming attacks. However, it does little to defend against attacks that produce a lot of light, e.g fire, explosions, ect.

Shadow Step
His newest ability, once reaching lieutenant he discovered he could hide in shadows, sinking into them. For this to work the shadow must be bigger than him, if the shadow is moving he must keep up with it otherwise he will be forced out. If the shadow is broken at all, he will be tossed from it, taking damage if he doesn't react quick enough. He can only jump into the shadows of other individuals.

Personality

On first glance Merxus comes off as well mannered, easygoing, and friendly...if not a little insecure. Others might describe him as well-intentioned and mischievous, just looking for a fun way to spend his time. He is loyal to a fault and will do anything for those he's grown close to, coveting their attention in anyway he can. Hidden behind the politeness there is a less stabled side, fuelled by his own selfishness, jealousy and his non-existent self esteem. All that being said he has calmed down considerably since first joining the organization. He is far better at keeping his emotions under wraps, and his behavior has improved; even if it's only slightly.
