EDIT: With many thanks to who approved the idea, I made the power lines less stuck-on looking. Does everyone else approve?EDIT 2: Updated art!
So, I've got myself a new electric-rock fossil. I'm very pleased with the concept, but Verdino had to be changed to a triceratops. Verdino will, however, keep the winter greens theme.
The styling itself is okay.
You know what I should really do? Put them on pretty backdrops. I'd gain a bazillion more views that way. XD

TRANSVOLT were very mighty POKΓ©MON when they roamed the land hundreds of millions of years ago. They would join up in large, usually single file herds, aptly named lines, when migrating to the lush grasslands that satisfied their large appetites. Lines could go on for miles and often carried thousands of volts across the very pliable wires which were attached to the conductive studs on the succeeding TRANSVOLT's neck protrusions. Young attached to the tails of adults. When in battle, the tail could be used as a sound barrier-breaking whip. It is said that had they lived till the dawn of humans that civilization would have advanced forty times faster.
Transvolt also replaces Tortispark, who was originally devised out of my need/desire for a defensive electric type.

Thought that was the name of epic flaming stegosaurus! A quick question for you 'bout one of the guys you'll be drawing - I'm considering re-doing Frilldon's evolution - do you think I should base it more on Dimetrodon or on Spinosaurus?

Dimetrodon, partly because we're watching Jurassic Park III in English, but also because I had to replace the dimetrodon in my dex. ;_;

even though the idea is very nice the realization is a bit too obvious...
i mean u could have replaced the wooden parts on it's neck with parts that look more natural and body related....
I mean no offence but it looks like it bumped into an electrcity line and got tangled in it! :3

Haha, I do! I mean you no offense either, but I just don't feel I can change it quite yet, though. I'm something of a perfectionist, so I have to find the absolute best way to replace it before I actually do. XD
But don't worry, I think you've set the gears on my mind a-turning.
How about this: would it look any better if I removed the lower beam and changed the wood to the same black material as the head and toes? Looking back, I think that was similar to my second option.

Very ingenious, but for me, it's a bit meh. Not that that should take away any of your amazingness, just, this one doesn't seem to go for me. I'm loving the concept and PokeDex entry though!

And to the wood- I don't know. To me, rock would seem kind of awkward because telephone poles aren't rock. It just struck me as wood. Who knows? Maybe it's petrified. XD

When I thought of it, I imagined these long lines of the pokemon that would resemble today's power lines. I didn't really think it needed too much detail.
