I had to make something with those old plain black converse-like things I bought for 5$ in a department store
I wore them some times and some things has fallen apart...
It took me two days, I used all the possible things I could find into my house, and some Acrylic paint.
It was fun, next time I see cheap shoes I will try again, and make sure everything will stay where I put it !
There was two dog medals at the beginning, but it was making SO MUCH noise, I removed one, I wouldn't have been able to live at school with those shoes xD

simply GREAT! I've done something similar with my jean jacket using old key holders, broken chains, body piercing jewelery, patches (especially), zips, pins and studs.
As I saw your deviation, I will maybe upload a photo when the project will be completed.
