Happy anniversary to the game that both got me to love rhythm games & take up learning Japanese. Dance Dance Revolution, I can’t thank you enough for the amazing impact you had on my life since I was in kindergarten. No, seriously…if it weren’t for me discovering DDR in my elementary school gym classes, I would’ve never taken such a liking to it. And if I never grew to love DDR I wouldn’t have ever discovered Pop’n Music or entered the wonderful world of rhythm games. Because the BEMANI game series has most of its songs in Japanese, that’s what made me want to learn to speak it. So I could understand the songs.

I drew fave character Konsento & his builder Emi to celebrate! Both of their colors go so well together. Konsento is such a unique and cute robot with a plug for a head, and that’s why I love him!
