Description
I’ve heard today’s a holiday called “Online Friends Appreciation Day” so I thought I’d make a gift for a bunch of friends I’m close with online. We call each other the “BREADMANI Sound Team” because we obsess over bread and BEMANI (and Dancing Stage EuroMix, and Bob The Builder kiddie rides), and we pretty much made Emi the unofficial mascot of our little clique.
She’s a really great DDR character though, and a longtime favorite of mine - and on top of that she just got a new song in Pop’n Music (Come to Life from DDR) so I think I picked the perfect time to draw her!

I relate to Emi in a few ways, specifically in the ways that I like to eat and I love robots...I admit to having this headcanon that Emi and Alt are actually rather friendly since, well, Alt is a robot.

This is isn’t the first time I drew Emi, but it is the best I’ve ever drawn her for sure, as last time I drew her was in 2017 when I was nowhere near as skilled of an artist. My art has changed a lot and improved significantly since then!

In all honesty Emi’s definitely climbing up the list of my favorite DDR characters - speaking of which, I plan to draw lots more of them as well! Next I may do my namesake character Jenny, I always loved playing as her in SuperNova!
