Here is a bit of an odd crossover, but it works anyways in my opinion! I was psyched to draw this ever since I noticed some PBS Kids show characters seemed like they could fit into the Pop’n Music world. I decided to draw them in Pop’n Music style because of it and I LOVE how they look like this

I was kinda trailing off of when I did that Xavier Riddle/Pop’n Music crossover last year. I’ve always compared Xavier to Nico but Jet’s a lot like Nico as well ‘cuz they’re both energetic and playful redheaded boys from other planets (except Jet is a Bortronian and Nico is a human living on Mars in the future), so naturally I was inspired by his design when Pop’nizing both Xavier and Jet. Their designs just scream something that tam, アオニサイ and mee (Nico’s designers) would bring to life. As for Elinor, I noticed she was a lot like Mimi, one of Pop’n Music’s main mascots. Mimi’s design was refined into what it is today by an artist named shio, who has worked on Pop’n Music since 1998 and was responsible for the earliest stages of the series. She’s also designed some other characters similar to Mimi and Nyami named Sapphire and Kurumi, so it’s natural to believe that Elinor seems like a character shio would design. I’ve been LOVING Elinor Wonders Why, BTW; I can say that Elinor reminds me of me when I was her age, even me today. She is curious and wants to know everything about things that interest her. I definitely intend to make some fan art of Elinor and her friends in more of the show style but with the usual Jenna twist sometime. I guess I was an Elinor kinnie all along but I just haven’t known until now 😳

PBS Kids most definitely makes the best children’s shows of our generation. They’re pure, wholesome, and can even teach adults things they didn’t know about science, Earth, space and the whole solar system, historical figures, and much more while being entertaining, funny and thoroughly enjoyable by all ages at the same time. I highly recommend watching Elinor Wonders Why, Xavier Riddle and the Secret Museum, and Ready Jet Go!
