A super-exciting art trade I did with my sweet school friend ~! In exchange for an extremely adorable drawing she did of my precious Beatrix as a smol, I was given the option to draw either her persona Aria or her beautiful angel OC Stella. I couldn't decide who I wanted to draw more, so I said I'd start with Aria for the trade and then do Stella sometime after (as a free request). So, you guessed it, this is Aria! Aria is Merindity's adorable persona. Since Aria is usually always seen surrounded by little floating stars, I decided to stick with the star motif for this one and not only include Aria's floating stars but a little jar in her hand for her to catch them in! There's even a big star in the palm of her hand☆
I absolutely adore Aria and drawing her was kind of tough but fun~ The reason why I say it was kind of tough is because I drew her in the car ride home from upstate, so if any lines look a bit shaky it's because of the fact that I was in a moving vehicle.
I hope you don't mind that I did some little polka dot and stripe patterns in Aria's hair! I wanted to try something new out and took inspiration from both the album cover of the song "SEITEN Bon Voyage" from BEMANI (sung by Alt ) and the art style of my sweet friend and I'm pretty satisfied with how this new hair effect came out.
I also thought it'd be nice to draw a friend's persona before I draw my own new persona tomorrow I have a new OC on the horizon too!
