Well I wear glasses, so maybe that's why? Its okay don't be sorry ;w; I think maybe just erasing the blur around the eyes like someone mentioned might keep it from doing that. Like I said, the majority of your stuff doesn't do it to me, so don't worry too much on my account!

Actually I never noticed this effect in your artwork, so I think you do it the right way. Many artists use it the headache way.

Interesting... it looks a lot like the color fringing (dispersion) you get from aspherical chromatic aberration (caused by light passing through a lens and red/blue being diffracted different amounts). It's very cool.

Thank you! Light is pretty cool. I'd hate to think of what the universe would be like without light... darker, for sure, and no sweet art like yours!

I never thought of using the 3D technique in such a subtle way! But it certainly adds something, I love this. Thank-you so much, your art is a huge inspiration to me.

i really love your art style, i'm wondering, how do you practice painting and drawing? do you have any tips for aspiring artists?

thank you! I think I will make a journal on it soon I try to draw for atleast 2 hours a day, and aim for 5 hours a day. It is just practice practice practice and study study
as many hours as possible haha. Sakimichan used to draw for 17 hours a day!

I can't wait for the journal. ill have to strive to draw more a day and study more on bodies and such. and if you don't mind on your journal can you explain what you do to practice painting and drawing? I'm sorry if im asking to much or being annoying

Jemooshka In reply to Luccipurr [2016-02-23 15:55:16 +0000 UTC]
its no problem! every day I try to get 2-5 hours of drawing in, and I usually draw things I already like to draw (like faces!) and then put something harder in there like a hand! so it is still fun but I am getting practice also

That's helpful, thank you. one last question, is there a certain way you practice painting on your computer? your painting skills are so gorgeous!

Oh that's certainly a clever way to achieve it! Personally I duplicate the finished piece on a new layer then go into blending options where I turn off the Red channel in the "Advanced Blending" category. Then I just size up the duplicate a tinsy bit to get the 3D effect Oh and to avoid headache I erase the focal points on the 3D duplicate like the face etc!
Always fun to see how different artists solve problems in different ways
