Description The new freighter my Star Wars: Saga players will find themselves on in the second part of their Trilogy. Done in SketchUp 5, like the "Mystery Ship" over here: :thumb61646704:

I'm still having a bit of trouble getting rid of that heavy join line down the center of the model after I clone and flip the first half of the ship, but I'm working on it.

The ship itself is very lightly armed, equipped with only point-defense blasters. A heavy hauler, it has plenty of room to keep several types of cargo separated and safely stored. It uses a standard model Corellian shipyards Hyperdrive, with a strong sublight engine to help it move the mass of the cargo when in flight. It's not fast, and it's not pretty, but it's tough and full of space.

This is a 3/4 front view of the ship, showing the cockpit, navigational sensors, and the defense dome mount in the rear of the vessel.

As a starter ship, I can totally see it working. Besides, it has a grow on you qualify about it. So if it's moddable I can imagine the crew would hang on to it

Sad to say they lost it in a firefight and had to steal an enemy ship to get away, which they then lost and had to replace with yet another enemy vessel.

They went through ships pretty quickly, truth to tell.

Aaaaw, well seems like at least they had a hell of a ride.
By the way, don't you hate when you have prepared something in great detail and planned for it to be important for the campaign and then the players manage to fumble - or in my case roll a very perfect, very visible roll against my planed nemesis against them, killing him instantly.
Well I guess that's the charm of tabletop rpg:s

There's a reason I use ships as window dressing in Star Wars games, really. They're good to get people from point A to point B and serve as a vehicle for chase scenes, but really, anything else and it's just too much work - constantly having to build and re-build ships that the players just trash or abandon.

BTW, I super appreciate the feedback on the ships. These have been up for so long, I was afraid no one would ever notice them.

Sure thing man 👍🏽
Actually considering how many hours I have spent looking at starships here in DA (if it wasn't that I already do, I will be telling my self to stop wasting my time and get a job😅)I find it strange that I haven't seen your ships before.
It wasn't until I typed "d6 Star Wars" in the search bar that they showed up.
I don't know, is there any way for you to broaden your search options?

Considering they're not tagged as d6, I admit I'm confused.

Of course, now that I think about it, they pre-date the tagging system, so that might have something to do with it. Hm.
