Yeah these are getting hard to do now because I basically have 30 minute chunks a day to work on stuff.. this took me several days but the outcome was good. Proved to myself that I can actually do stuff if I put my mind to it. A lot has gone on and this was kind of like therapy. Wing blending was fairly good.. chestnuts are difficult to work with and this one had multiple hues. Splashes drawn from scratch, background unaltered except for color and softness - it was very pretty and didn't need any real changes. I kinda colored the background more pastel-ish to make the horse/pega stand out more. I really like the line "dreams do not fly on broken wings" too.
