Lovely photo! I for one am fascinated by nature so I'm attracted to this piece :]
The only critique I can give is maybe blurring a bit around the subject so that it will pop more. Right now it's a lovely photo but the tree doesn't stand out as well as it could and since it doesn't stand out as much, it's hard to tell if that is your subject.
Also, if this is cropped, maybe adjusting it a bit to where the small branches on the left aren't cut off.

someone else said it already but this is a great capture, and the treatment does work well. brings out that ancient, gnarled feeling to this pic!
