Icon commission for LordMarlon

They asked for their character Jay with a tail wag and snarling. I just threw in a tongue animation just cuz haha i thought it would be cool XD and they have a fabulous tongue. What this did mean though was that I had to animate the tail as a tail whip again rather than a wag. I think that'll be standard for wagging icons. Normal tail length will get a wag, a tail that drags on the floor will get a swish and a tail that is long and curls will get a whip type animation. They're all essentially the same movement but you can't fit in a proper wag when the tail is so huge. I'm glad that Melon hopped by my stream and linked me Jay's updated ref because I very nearly create the icon with their old design and I loved the originality of the new one. I ended up working on this for over 12hrs straight yesterday and my shoulder was really complaining towards the end haha But I also worked on it for a few hours the night before as well. Was very interesting to pixel. Never even drawn raptor claws before, let alone pixelated them haha I think they turned out pretty good haha I wasn't sure how to do the nose ring at first either haha but ya get the idea i hope XD
