"Suddenly he turned his head and looked me right in the eyes. His eyes were empty as though he were dead, and as his eyes looked into mine..."

This is ~RainWolf1994 's commission, [1 of 2] of a scene from his book. He gave me an extract from his book and wanted me to illistrate part of it. i chose the section above. he also said i could design the characters, but if you want the designs changing any let me know, i can tweak them.

When I started this piece my head was trying to get around how to make eyes look dead rarther than blind.. n i beileve i succseeded ^^

Also i apoligise for the delay but i haven't had time to work on much art for this past month due to coursework deadlines at school. only managing to do one kiriban prize and sketches. but i hope it's worth the wait

Story behind the picture
The wolf that's look at the camera finds his mate dead, and he turns to look at the murderer of his mate
*trying not to give spoilers to his book *

Behind the Artwork
• each tree that is close to the camer [5 in total] took about 40-60 mins to draw, no joke...

• each tree that's further away took 10 mins aprox each to draw

• the lying wolf took about 2 days to sketch right [non consecitivly] as i struggled with it.

• the shading on the wolf took about 3+ hours

• in total this piece took about 4-5 days to complete, including 3 days back to back.

Also i wanted to give the scense that it was being watched in a movie theatre, hense the black borders and more rectangular shape.
