2nd attempt fr axis fighter. I like this a little bit better then 01 sketch, mounted the weapons in the forward hull, and engines side by side. kinda hate the little wing i gave it, but i do like the Henkiel style tail surface... of course in space you don't need wings, but I gives me a place to put maneuvering thrusters for space, and allows it to fight in atmosphere... the engines, have a vector nozzle that deploys when the fighter is launched, otherwise retracted when hangered or in cruise mode...Related content

They even had plans to scale it up for their Amerika Bomber project, so maybe it could make a neat heavy bomber or gunship/corvette base?

yeah, the germans had some awesome designs... and of course german high command being utter nutters they were... wanted to dive bomb everything... they had a design for a heavy bomber He177 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heinkel_β¦ ... it...never worked out they way they wanted it too... but it does have kinda neat landing gear... 4 tires, 4 main struts, a pair one on either side of the engine... updated drawing has been posted for this thing, Axis 03 fighter is up
