I like the outlines and slightly offset color channels, like they're off printing registration!

Well, thats "faux shadows" are the whole point, or "style" of this pattern. I've tried to make something similar to "Oak" SS pattens. I've even firstly called this one "partizan" like russian "eichenlaub" copy patterns.
