It's called "You are normal too." The inspiration for it came from two sources. One is the comic the story is named after.

The other is from one of those pony-ask blogs called "Out of work Derpy" where Derpy goes into a flashback to talk about how Dinky was born. We see a boyfriend that went from loving to abusive because of some serious family issues.
