A great thanks to apoetsdream [link] for the reference photo that I based some of this off of.I really like how it turned out.
I changed the photo, helps show the color more, dang cloudy days though hard to get good sunshine, the best light source around.
Local press for this piece, was featured in a newspaper recent near my home town!

you should scan your pictures. the colours would be more effective then. it's a pity, 'cause your drawings are gorgeous. Or just photograph them without the distracting background.

Thanks, I got a new camera, never did take an updating image with this piece, I looked into a scanner, they do not make one that can do a 14 by 17 drawing, and copy machines are not that large as well. Plus the scan I did at Kinkos did not turn out well at all and distorted all of the colors. So far the better camera helps a lot, I will try to update the photos on here, the newer ones are with that better camera and it shows I think.

i think the quality is quite good (must be the new cam then) but it would be even better, if they were professional scans. but i got the same problem. i also just photograph them but the result isn't satisfying. what kind of camera do you use and how do you take these pictures? i mean, with what kind of settings?

Again this photo was taken with an old camera that needed to be in direct sunlight to pickup any color, my new camera I can take photos anywhere and it usually turns out ok. My newest few drawings had pictures with the new camera and it is a little better.
