I have made a lot of these Wes Studi based drawings from the movie Dances With Wolves. This is probably the best one I have made so far, love the expression on his face and always fun to play around with the paint and headdress details.Made with colored pencils.

About 10 years now, 40 or so drawings a year so it takes a lot of practice.

Thanks, the background helps that I think because it is just white first with light blue so not real strong, and helps not muddy the outline up.
