Rust Cohle from True Detective. Have not done a portrait for awhile and wish this one was better but the reference I used was very grainy and not too clear. Still has kind of a cool look and is a awesome character, should have won a Emmy for his performance I feel.Made with colored pencils.

It was a great series, and no clue how they will do the second one, I think the 1st is almost impossible to top and improve on. With the drawing, wish it turned out better, there are issues with it but maybe I can fix those will see.

I agree. Doesn't need a second season. Typical for American television, though. Once we have a good thing, we milk that sucker to death; 8 or 9 seasons, movie, etc. In terms of television, I wish we would think more like the Brits. They'll do one or two seasons for the BBC and call it quits before the story gets stale. Speaking of, since you liked True Detective, check out a BBC series called Luther. It's simply excellent. Unfortunately, I'm hearing that they are now considering doing an American version of it.
