I wanted to post, what I believed to be an iconic image of the beloved Ronnie James Dio, who was taken away from us this morning after a battle with stomach cancer.Dio is the greatest vocalist in metal and paved the way for metal to exist in the capacity it does today.
to say this is the most tragic loss in metal history, is a vast understatement.
RIP Dio. You will forever be the flame of which no one could ever hold a candle to.

NOTE - DD: Thanks so much for the DD - i feel so honored, but even more so, I am very happy that this is also honoring the greatest singer in metal of all time. Lets remember how amazing his music, his words, and everything that he gave to us. We should celebrate his presence - as it truely was a gift. RIP DIO.

He was only 67. hehad one of the very most greatest vocals in metal history and it saddens me ho much of the todays music sucks.
But one day I hope that heavy metal make a monster comeback in the music trends! I speak for all metal fans and for those who are a fans his music.
