Description
Literature Gallery: Chapters and Annotation Assignment
A brief sketch for an idea I had not long ago for the lit community.
I didn't go into anything on the submission side. More or less this is the presentation side one would see as they click on a Lit deviation.
I'm sure most of you don't know that I actually came to deviantART as a writer. It took a few years before I fell into what I'm doing here, now.
I've been meaning to re-upload some of my older work, and it occurred to me as I thought about doing so how entirely in need of help that whole process really is.
I hope this one is actually considered seriously. It could really improve our Lit system by leaps and bounds... and make it FUN to read again!!!
As always, I'd love to hear your thoughts!

I agree! I think it would be easier for those people, too, who don't have a word-processing software... as they can feel more at ease to just sit down in one submission and write their story there from scratch.

you're problem there is that the submission token would run out so it would fail when you tried to submit it
maybe you could sort something out with the IT team about that

I think they'd cover those bases if they took it on.

ooooh. I'm so glad you dig this one. Very genuinely.
Once upon a time I came to deviantART as a writer. How I ended up with a passion for wallpapers is a whole other story... but suffice it to say, I'd really like to see the lit community get an overhaul. As it stands now it's damn good, but it's a lot unattractive.
An improvement like this would most certainly pitch the sails on dA, and help to usher in the broad wind of an even more significant lit-following.
Thankfully we're graced to be in love and live for a community who, as a whole, has working Heads that actually listen to us.
So...! You guys need to get this seen by your peoples. I really think if the demand is overwhelming, someone will take heed and do something cool about it!!!

It would totally help out prose writers, really it would!

Prose writers indeed! ...and even those who write poems in separate suites could benefit from having a faux "next page" to utilize.

Thank you! It was a lot of fun to put together. But moreover, I really want to help dA be the best it can be.
If only I had a louder voice and dA had bigger ears.
