yes I know. It's a short bit of description. Anyway, Micheal and Thantos. Love each other, to the exclusion of all else... but duty has dragged them apart and continues to hold them seperate. Thantos keeps Micheal's feather on a chain around his throat, Micheal has a gemstone of the demon's around his. And that's all the contact that they have....
Colored pencils on what WAS blue cardstock... but I got a little pencil happy. Blarg, and I totally screwed up on the anatomy >.<

I love your use of medium. I am completely enamored with Thantos. It's the combination of features really. A bit of a coinsidence, but not entirely rare. Crimson tresses and dark amber skin... Not to mention those long slender ears. I'm often intrigued when two different artists appear to both create the same character. You see I have a character, a demon with similar features. Red hair, dark skin, horns, slender ears, muscled build. You have my attention.

Absolutely beautiful. I love the emotion in this peice. And, well, they remind me of a couple of my characters. The way their wings are entwined around one another is so sweet.

hm.. When I look at your pictures I always get goose bumps.. and not few of them shudder me to the very core. It aches, it burns, it hurts to see and yet.. its beautiful ^^ WOW!! I wish I could express myself as you do but.. well I don't think that I could to some things to my "creatures" that you do..
I think I have a too soft heart *g
But well we'll see.. got some demons of my own.. one showed up on a pic I made for my father (he seems to like this kind of stuff). Unfortunately I couldn't scan it.. well think I'll soon make another one.

Yes well, the thing is, in the rp that we run these two in... Thantos just got stuck taking over hell (loooooong story) And Micheal is accused of being a fallen angel... so he's back to his duties, but now all eyes are on him in case he makes a mistake. So if he goes to see a demonic lover.... they'll decide he really is fallen and kill him. And likewise if the demons in hell knew that Thantos was in love with an angel, without making him fall... they would retaliate against him.

I have a few little suggestions about how you can fix the anatomy. First off..Thantos' eye (the one farthest from the viewer, his right eye) the eyelash showing should be higher if both eyes are open. That should even his eyes out a bit. Also, the highlight of his left pectoral muscle should be slanted a little downward more at a 20 degree angel flowing gradually towards his the joining of his shoulder muscle and bicep. And since his arm is leaning out to wrap around Michael, the line'd be stretched out a bit more than you have it. I'd say fixing those little details will make it look convincing overall.
