This is so beautiful and sad. There's this air of vast space around him and above him, one can practically sense the dizzying, fresh night air, and yet he's not free... I like this contrast very much. A great piece.

It does have a sad mood to it sis but also one of desperate longing to fly himself for those of us who know a bit more of Fate. As with Jude I won't ask you to explain about it, I'll just admire it with awe and wonder as I do with each of your beautiful pictures and hope that the sad mood you may have been in while drawing it has passed. *hugs you* I think this is one of the best so far of Fate that you've done and knowing it's for a dear friend of yours makes it that much more special sweetie. And though I know I can be a bit hard to talk to sometimes, if you ever need anyone to talk to about stuff... I usually do my story updates and stuff on the site. Most of the work is really old on there, I have to update all of the artwork for example, and the fan art gallery is being rebuilt as well. But the link is on my journal. hmmmmm did I call it the roland site? I think so.....

So, on a side note, did I ever tell you I knew one of the guys in that band? I was living in Stamford, and Don Roeser (Buck Dharma) used to come into my record store all the time and BS with me. Sometimes he'd bring the wife and his little girl. (well, she was little them - this was like back in 1979 or so) Cool guy, but I remember he was like 5 foot nothing, the top of his head came up to like my chin...
