This jar has been sitting on my windowsill for ages.I finally decided that before this weekend I was going to find something, anything, to do with it.

It's a paper heart inside a jar. Or is it? The grass seems to be teal, so that already transports me to another place, a sort of dream place, instead of it being a jar in the grass in a backyard. The pink of the heart does contrast really well against that particular teal. It looks like there's little tiny strawberries around, which adds to the other worldly aspect. The jar reminds me of ones I have in my kitchen, stuffed with herbs and flower petals, and it makes me think of comforting scents, and a safe place. That's part of your title, isn't it? Keep it safe. I could complain that the jar looks too simple, too easy to open. But the heart is flimsy, just a piece of paper, so it works fine as a metaphor. Actually, I enjoy the simplicity, because it reinforces the measures we must take to keep our real hearts safe. All in all, I like it.
