After more than a few long walks past the road barricade I was rewarded with this beautiful bull resting in a pretty remote place a long way up Marmot Bason.Related content

That is one seriously impressive set of antlers.Β Love how chill and completely unbothered he looks (did he know you were there? XD).Β Those splashes of colour in the background are really beautiful as well, accentuates the deer nicely I think.

Yea this time of year when they are starting the rut especially it's important to notttt get close as they can become very aggressive.

So just get close with a good zoom lens then XD Yeh they seem kinda big and heavy, imagine they'd do some damage if they charged.

I was probably 50-60 yards away, braced against a tree.

I had to run that through a converter, I can't count in imperial XD I think at that distance I would have been up the tree but that's me and I'm a coward

Just wonderful.....I will never ever understand how anyone can hurt them and hunt them close to extinction even. They have a rough enough life without bloodthirsty men trying to kill everything they see.
