au spark lore? backstory thing

so if you remember or read my spark fic you'd remember the name seth
which in this au and that fic was sparks real name
(full being: Seth saffron)

so for alot of this I'll actually be referring to spark as Seth to both distinguish au from canon and just for story purposes

so ahem, storytime with jester hours lol

as a kid when Seth was younger he was born with a genetic mutation and a essentially some disabilities

in the au formies are born with the jester powers (essentially as magic or summoning/weapon use etc)
but some formies can end up being born without
Seth being one of them

his mutation being have weirdly sharp canine teeth. being more like fangs then anything.
which as a kid he was bullied and mocked for as kids referred to him as "monster" or "bitey" (which he has bit someone out of rage, after the bullying started)

in highschool he eventually cracked the code on how to end the bullying
he gained some confidence and gained a playful personality that made him likeable enough that the "popular" kids essentially befriended him and ignored his fangs and didn't bully him.
during highschool he developed a love for art and drama

he eventually befriended the theatre kids and became an artist and bought sketchbooks to draw in

as kid and into his eventual adulthood Seth adored his father's line of work
his father, bolt was rather distant for basically all of his life making Seth feel he needed to win his dad's love which obviously fucked up his mental health.

his dad had some issues and ended up shutting everyone out his life

after highschool he went straight to college for an electrical engineering degree as due to his father and Seth's personal love for robotics and mechanical stuff.
it was during this time seth made his jester hat as his mother loved sewing. originally the hat was gonna just be a hat but due to wanting to help powerless formies like him and wanting to make good use of his hat for an assignment

Seth gave his head the ability to conduct and control electricity and eventually many other power types. which also lead him to gaining the nickname "spark"

after college Seth went for a robotics job having earned his degree
he landed a job at his dad's company and worked there for a year before being replaced by a robot worker.

he then worked as a electrician but ended up getting fired for similar reasons

he then worked a few odd jobs
doing a small modelling career for advertising and a magazine
working at a temp agency
a call centre
at some point working as a waiter for a club
working as a fry cook

all in the span of 8 months-

this eventually lead him to being hopeless
no job and needing money to live and survive.
he got the idea to use his hat to become a street performer which lead him to working for a circus after getting noticed by a manager

then getting fired and replaced with a robot that looked like him

now that's the backstory

as for why he becomes a robot or gains a tail
I'll explain

after the events of spark 3 fark and spark
(fark being that robot that looks like him which he befriended)

sparks body was fucked up and corrupted from clarity turning him into a linework beast
to fix this best fark could he put spark into a robot body
however spark developed what I call the "linework corruption" which acted as a disease that'd flare up when he was under any kind of stress.
causing him pain and strange bouts (obvious since he was robot) of nausea.

sparks robot body wasn't in the best condition and needed constant repairs and would break or malfunction or not work as intended which was honestly rather humiliating for him.
that one top of what he expirenced with the clarity mind fuck and having this "illness" sparks mental health was at an all time low

fark helped him best he could. he'd take care of him and cook for him like a mom.

eventually spark did get better and the two with help of friends even cured the illness
however it gave him a tail.

which only is a fair trade.
no illness and a tail that wags when happy.
