I random idea I had some months ago, of drawing out the Eevee family from Pokemon in anthro forms, as well as male and female forms, thinking it'd be fun to also dress them up in clothes/costumes that seemed suitable for them.

So for starters, of course, we start with the Eevees themselves. I had in mind for them to be jack-of-trades and wanted them to look utilitarian (I think that's the word). With that idea in mind and their somewhat brown coloration, I got the idea of their outfits being workshop workers.

I tried a unique technique: When I did the recent Saints Row Roxy piece (www.deviantart.com/jesterkatz/… ), I tried to put effort into constructing a 3D mannequin of sorts in Blender so I had a better grasp of the character being more, well, 3-dimensional. As opposed to being haphazard with the drawing. However, kinda-sorta taking inspiration from how I blended 2D and 3D in my Night Light piece (www.deviantart.com/jesterkatz/… ), I had an idea; I did a rough, gesture-like drawing of how I wanted the character's proportions looked, then I went to Blender and, using the rough draft as a guide, roughly blocked out the characters in 3D using simple shapes (a.k.a. primitives) to help give me a better idea of the shape of the characters' bodies. Highly cheating, but...eh, what does it matter anymore?

I was going to add some coloring, but I've decided to finish up with Blender's Grease Pencil, so this sketch is just a WIP.
