Yeah, I hate cold mornings!
For *shekeira . I didn't sign up for the Exchange this time around, but adopted her instead. It's been ages since I sat down and speed painted a horse. Yay! Reference from *starrynight-stock :[link] and lots of bay horse pictures. I still can't colour bays comfortably, but I'm happy with how this fella turned out!

I suck at coloring on pc's. I love seeing what you do with all the colors and themes you create. The touch of stars fading into the rising sunlight sets a great mood for a cold brisk morning. I know them all to well. 
I am horribly troubled by an image of BlackWing trapted in my mind that will not come out on paper. I want so bad to draw it. I've tried heavens to betsy many times but it always falls way short. I might need to ask one of my fav. stock artists to do a specified pose with a prop. If only I could do BW Justice Holly. You have me trapted by BW's Charm. *chuckles* Its been nagging me for over a year. Shame on him huh.

Yes we must! I have tried to jot it down, line art it down, even so far as to mesure and script but nothing works. Its a complicated perspective view. ugh... LOL

I love her character ^^ He was a lot of fun to draw when I did him. You did a great job with the bay colouring - the shadows/highlights are great too

That's awesome. I love the angle and the shine on the coat is just perfect. The background colors really give it that early morning feel too.

I think it looks spiffy! Good job, I like the atmosphere. I think to add a little more to the cold feeling, there ought to be a cold breath coming from the horses nose or something, I think that would help with the feeling of the chill. But nicely done indeed.
