Alex Burton Hated going to work. He never wanted a job in the first place, but he was forced to find one by his parents because Alex used up all of his Phones data plan and made thier Cell Phone bill skyrocket in price. All of this to teach their son the lesson that money doesn't grow on trees. Despite his protests and whining, Alex was able to land a part-time job at a family owned grocery store near his school.

The Grocery store was a place that could compete with the likes of Target and Walmart in terms of the selection of Grocery items.
Even though it's twice as small as those corporate juggernauts, This store is able to stay in business and pay their employees a living salary. They even had all the benefits you would find in a salary bases job. Honestly, even Alex's parents were shocked he got a job as good as this for his first job.

Alex starts his first day of work today. He drags himself out of bed, takes a shower, brushes his teeth, puts on all the generic stuff you out on your body to stay/smell clean, throws his clothes on, and heads to work. Unfortunately, traffic was way heavier than expected, and he was late by 10 minutes. As soon as he walks to the break room to clock in, he see's this big fat white guy with a white beard/mustache combo, light blue work shirt, grey slacks, and black shoes. If he was wearing a red shirt, he would look just like Santa Claus.

"Young Alex! Being late for work on your first day doesn't seem like the best strategy to get on my good side."

Alex was taken aback by his shift of tone and demeanor. First time he saw this guy, he gave off the impression that he was easy to talk to and very outgoing, but now he has this serious energy around him and it was almost intimidating.

"Sorry Mr.... Um... Mr...?"

Alex takes a quick glimpse at the big guys name tag and reads it out in a apologetic and sheepish tone.

"Miller? Sorry Mr. Miller. I was stuck in traffic and-"

Mr. Miller stops him mid sentence and proceeds to wrap his arm around Alex's shoulder and starts laughing, which confuses Alex.

"Haha got ya good didn't I!? Don't worry about it! I know things can happen unexpectedly, so I'm not going to mark you for it today. That being said, try to not make it a habit ok sonny?"
"Uh...yes sir. Thank you..."

Mr. Miller proceed to let go of Alex and starts to walk over to the door that leads to the hallway.

"All right! I'm going to have my lunch and take care of manager things! Alex! Once you clock in, go to the front of the store and one of my supervisors will train you today. At the end of your shift, come to my office because I'll need your help with something!"

Alex was confused at that last part. Why did he need his help? Surely all of the other staff members would be able to help Mr. Miller way more efficiently than him. Regardless, Alex agrees with Mr. Miller's words and proceeds to head to the sales floor.
The day goes by smoothly. Alex learned how to work the cash register, how to do go backs, how to collect carts, and how to sweep the store. It was nearing the end of his shift and Alex proceeds to walk to the break room to clock out. Just before he opens the door to the breakroom, a employee opens the door to see Alex in front of him. They make small talk before Alex asks the co-worker where Mr Miller's office is located.

"Oh? Stinky Pete? His office is down the hall at the end of the corner to your left"

Alex was confused as to why his Co-worker referred to their boss as "Stinky Pete". Alex thought about the Stinky Pete from Toy Story 2 and didn't think Mr Miller shared any character traits with that guy. When Alex asked why did his coworkers call him that, he just gave Alex a look that said "You'll find out soon.". Alex proceeds to follow the directions that his coworker game him and found Mr Miller's office. He knocked on the door to let Mr. Miller know he has arrived and was told he can open the door. The second Alex opens the door he is hit with this enormous gust of wind that goes through his entire body. The smell was horrible and he could barely breathe. It was at this point Alex figured out why they call Mr. Miller "Stinky Pete."
