Another picture of Murky, but with way more work put into him than last time. Took about 5 straight hours to make. I'm really happy for how it turned out! The only thing that bothers me is the size of his saddle bag... It should be bigger, especially since his such a small pony.Murky Number Seven ch.3 was released today and I had to make another picture of him! I really love this story so far. I actually feel some comitment to him and he reminds me of my old adventures as a kid. Difference is that I wasn't a slave in an extremely horrible enviroment and... yeah you get it. This suit of his was probably what triggered those memories, but the comitment I can't figure out why exactly. I just got a strong feeling about it. Anyway, it's a great story so far!
*SPOILERS Ch.3* His try to escape was really tense since, I knew he wouldn't escape completely, because then the story would turn away from the original plot completely but still I obviously hoped he would succeed. He got so god damn far and just further and further till there were no turning back and further. Just, really, really great work on this chapter. It was very unpredictable but still awesome and tense. *SPOILERS*

Those goggles are definitely not what I imagined reading the story. They are, however, very cool.

Man, I need to do one of Murky to... Reading that story is the perfect reminder that Lilpip and Blackjack cant save everypony. Some just get left behind...

I for one found his escape plan to be pretty well thought out. Three times better than Littlepip's "Get out of this cage and try every single possible avenue of escape while causing as much chaos as I can" plan. And honestly, it would have probably worked had it not been for the Hiccup at the thresher and the griffin tail he had, both of which even skilled tacticians would have had trouble planning ahead for.

but he would have died... the sewer he was planing to escape in was full of taint... I was rooting for him till the very end, but alas, it was not to be. Honestly this story gives me a new hate for the unity, Red Eye, and griffons as a whole.

To the best of his knowledge at the time, it was a way out. His plan was to get to that drain and he almost succeeded in it, so in that sense, it was a good plan.
The story also makes me hate Redeye and his lieutenants more, but unity hasn't really played a part in it yet and I don't judge an entire race on the actions of a few so my opinion of the griffons hasn't been effected by the story much.

Oh yea, I agree it was a glorious plan, and I was cheering for him right up till that damn shot took him down. But I disliked griffons from the start (mostly mercs, redeye assholes, or just general raiders/douches) this kinda just solidifies my views.

They aren't supposed to be. O_o Let's say... he needs food so badly that his really, really thin and therefor more of his legs that should be on his side is instead viewable underneath him. Imagine a normal pony and then shrink the stomach, but not the legs. Did that work?

Woah, you got on this one fast! Love the attention to detail across the costume from pockets to the scuffed out Butterflies on the saddlebag.
Interesting take on the goggles too, very different from my original imagination, but that's a good thing! I love seeing people have their own imaginations and thoughts of things. It's the wonder of written stories that each person gets to fill in their own blanks. As an author, I take a firm stance that there is never any "correct" varient, even if I say it. I do love that design there though.
Seriously, two pics in just a few days from the one guy. How can I express thank you enough in words?

At first I just made the circeled kind of goggles that I have seen on pictures but the design didn't look very comfortable to I made my own.

I've been trying, believe me. It's a popular request. The problem lies in that FiMFic Can't copy things from .doc accounts without losing every alignment change, italic/bold text or font size alteration. The GDocs convert is better, but it still has major issues.
Basically, it'd take me ages to upload a chapter because I'd have to manually toy around with it and restore every format change I made in writing it.
As such, it's something to happen, but it may be adhoc when and how.
