Description This is an older work, but it's a nice one. I did this using traditional media, inking with a micron pen then coloring with water-color pencil crayons. I did touch it up with Photoshop Elements, but it was only some detailing and highlighting work.

There is a bit of a story behind this as well. As my story goes, Alia, Layer and Palette were all off operator duty getting some much needed Hunter field experience when a terrible attack happened on Abel City, completely devastating the region. As the Hunter Base crumbled into the dust and it's best operatives were lost to who knows where, it was up to these three survivors to sort through the rubble and exact justice. Makes for an interesting Manga plot.....

Anywho, enjoy.

YEAH! Nothing like women kicking ass to put a smile on your face.

We need to see these navigators in more field action. The addition of being able to play as them in X8 was just too much of a tease, and didn't do these gals justice in my opinion. They deserve more.

OMG now I want to see that manga!!! XD If I could ever complete something, I'd be tempted to draw a few pages for it myself (just for fun, of course.)

It looks stunning, even for being so old. I personally believe the traditional media enhances the picture -- most people these days would probably tell you that it wasn't as good as something done digitally, but it's a real testament to your skills if you can pull this kind of thing off. <3 Very epic.

XD This is one of those pics that just turned out well. I consider it luck that it came out this way because it was an experiment with a media that I barely use: water color pencil crayons. Neat to use.

Heh, as for those manga pages... Well, I can't stop you if you want to try! It would take a lot of free time that I don't know if you'd be willing to spare though.
