Shadow Dragon. Beast made of darkness, of the night. You are my bane. You swallow the dreams of the innocent and devour the souls of man. I banish thee, go back to the nothingness from whence you came!*Ahem* Ok. This is not part of my elemental dragons set, as you may be able to tell. If it was, I would have made much more effort to make it look cooler. As it stands, this is a quick half hour- 1 hour work done in Painter X, done for a friend as a reference for an avatar she wanted to do for me (The avatar turned out great by the way).
I may make another, more thorough Shadow Dragon at a later date, though. I love the concept just too much. ^_^

I imagine fighting this thing being a massive PITA like fighting Hirudegarn, it constantly vanishing and reforming behind you. Looks wickedly cool either way!

I have no idea what a PITA is or who Hirudegarn is, but yeah, this being a best of the dark that sounds about right, what you said with the vanishing and reforming. A monster of madness, fear, and nightmare for sure.

Hirudegarn is the villain that Goku and the others have to beat in Dragon Ball Z: Wrath Of The Dragon who was ungodly powerful and on top of it kept vanishing and reforming whenever one of the strong Z Warriors came that could actually do damage to it. [link] [link]

XD Heh, thank you! To be honest, this is meant to be more of a sketch for a reference for a friend so I didn't take this seriously, but if it means something so someone anyway then all the better! I'm glad you can see the point in the concept!

Very neat! You've made it look very... momentary isn't quite the word I want, but it looks like you'd see it out of the corner of your eye and then it would vanish and OH NO IT'S RIGHT BEHIND YOU!
