Forsaken.About 2.5 hours in photoshop 5. Reference used for the anatomy, but painted freehand. I hate it when people think photo reference means traced or manipulated.

I LOVE-LOVE-LOVE this work; I found it on google images long before I bumped into it here, and I'll tell you, right off the bat it was one of those that I considered as a book cover. IT...IS...PHENOMENAL. You capture the grief of the situation in a way I hadn't thought possible. This work leaves me speechless. Just thought you should know.
