What I did was that I vectorise it, in other words, I traced every detail of ~coyotechild 's original lineart, by using the pen tool in Illustrator, and I also colour it in Illustrator too, as per usual I used the pen tool. I always do that with some of my drawings, to give it a clean look.
I had heaps of fun in doing this piece, and I really love how comic or cartoon artist have bold shades and lines in their tradional lineart. It makes it easier to have control in tracing it in Illustrator, and for adding colours.
To someone who never done a vector art, it seems difficult in how this piece turns out, but for a pro vector artist, it seems dead easy and personally it is, but there are some minor difficulties in tracing bits that are too hard.
