One of my daughter's favorite characters in Dr. Seuss land. I changed it a little bit by putting her in the picture. I used iridescent paint in the water and it sparkles.....Related content

I used to get really freaked out by the Dr.Suess characters when i was younger (eons ago), am over it now though, i love this

Ages ago, I tried to make a Floob Boober... about the same time I painted this thing. I took an old sock darning wooden thing that my grandmother had (talk about old technology), and I shaped modeling clay around it and carved the expressions in it. Looked pretty cool for a while... but the thing eventually shattered....
Dr. Seuss rules.. I have been to a gallery in Laguna Beach that sells limited edition prints of some of Dr. Seuss's works. I hadn't known he had actually done some large paintings (most of the prints were from page of his books though). I enjoyed seeing the work (way to high to buy though).

A gallery...really ?...sounds cool. I eventually worked through my "issues" with Dr.S and ended up reading them to my daughters (22) (20)
