What have we done to ourselves?Update: This has been my most viewed piece and responses have been overwhelming. To save everyone some time, I don't have any problem with anyone downloading it, selling reproductions or reposting it on other sites. I don't need any payment but credit is appreciated.

This painting is so much like symbolism that if you add two more babies, that could be interpreted as the seven deadly sins.

Thanks! A few viewers have suggested improvements - a couple of others thinkΒ my Adam should be holding a handful of banknotes. Seven evil babies is another very good idea. I might have to revisit this image some day!

I am an artisan, I say you did it exactly as it should be, at the point you complete this social and political work of art, the image will be fully realized and lose its audience.Β This image leaves an impression of some sense of incompleteness that keeps em coming back.Β Awesome work, you did it again.

Could this be realism in the flesh, LOL.Β Seriously though, you nailed it.Β This is society today where junk food is making us ill, become obese, and obsessed and infatuated with things that function in the same way as drugs.Β Food, tobacco and alcohol Corporations, pharmaceutical companies and our government's subjugation blames us for all this and says they are providing us with a much needed service that is good for us.

A couple of things...
1- I freaking hate clowns. They need no help in being made to look more evil than they already are (ome of the reasons I hate Holloween) so my initial reaction was "OH GOD NOPE NOPE NOPE"
2- My second reaction was just me snorting and then laughing at how sad/true/funny this is. I mean, a fat guy replacing adam, and then Ronald as god. Satire paradise, amirite? This made me giggle. Probably not the response I should have had.
3- I read the description and I was like "okay. Not funny anymore. Just sad."
4- I began to crave a bigmac after this.
End result: Still afraid of clowns, lol'ed at how true this is, and now I'm hungry when I really shouldn't be.
