GREAT PEAK MOMENT!!
She shows perfect balance and control of the movement as well as her arms and legs.
You showed control in lighting, vision and capture. Hard combo to get right. You got it!

This depiction reminds me of this track: The Capitols - Cool Jerk

Thank you, she really got out there and expressed herself, I just looked for the perfect fraction of a second in which to press the button.

Soon we won't have to do that and technology will capture all photons everywhere in the room so we can choose the moment and focus later. Will creativity be diminished?

There is serious discussion that in the future photographers will simply shoot super high resolution video of a model and just choose the still frames later. Personally, I think that sounds sad. The photographer's choice of a decisive moment is necessary for both practical and romantic reasons. Even if you shoot 30 high res frames per second, you are missing thousands of possible instants to take the shot within a single second. The aesthetic magic depends on choices made by a skillful photographer; how to light a model, how to expose, how to interact with the model to draw the best facial expressions, how to frame the shot, when to capture the perfect shot. Those are just a few of the choices a real person needs to make, for the perfect still shot. Technology can't ever replace the human element in art.

It's even more than high res video that's coming - it's lens-free chips that collect photon information including direction so the selection of image is done in software after the capture and includes any focus or depth of field you want.
But there will always be seeing up the lights and the whole scenario set-up and the model/image maker relationship.

If we look at the past development of technology, we can gain insights into the future. In the past, new digital technologies have been predicted that would make music without human input. The "music" was crap. When robotic arms came along, they were going to paint great painting while looking at the world through a digital eye. The "paintings" were crap. But these technologies did lead to great new tools for human artists. I expect your lens-free chips will be great creative and scientific tools as well. But the nature of art is the expression of HUMAN thought, emotion and perception. If there is no human component, it is irrelevant, and it is not art. This may change if computers ever become truly sentient, but we will be waiting a long time for that

Sentience and artistic creativity may not be immediately related

Self awareness and artistry not related? That doesn't make any sense. What do you think "art" means?

I've known about that tech for a year or two. They are cool, but really no big deal. Just another tool for artists to use.
