Beautiful. I used to live in Oregon. It has a certain melancholic, yet peaceful content feeling about it. You defiantly nailed that feeling

Keep watching, I'll be posting here as I go.
As for what it's about -- keep reading! It's about so much more than it seems at the beginning.

i have to note that she, indeed, has a very, very large forehead.

Doesn't she? As someone who has spent his life drawing mostly gumdrop-shaped characters who squish around from scene to scene, drawing something a bit more lifelike is an ongoing (and very interesting) new challenge.
Large foreheads are great for reflecting sunlight and powering small villages, though.

You totally got me hooked on your large foreheaded creature though ^^ "she has a very large forehead" just sounded a tad bit less 1-in-a-million than "OMG MORE!"

Working on the publishing possibilities right now. One way or another, this will be released for others to enjoy.
It's definitely a personal thing, though.

Wonderful. You've got a wonderful, really wonderful style. Keep it easy and with this "Short shots of the situation in each panel"-style. I'd buy your graphic novel.

there is something very elegant and peaceful about the way you draw, just a suggestion, but maybe you could rough up the sea a little
