Description
Drawn in honor of being gifted a butt load of Invincible trades by Ryan Ottley himself. That's one fine series by one of the best artists in the biz.*brush, nib, micron

Ryan Ottley does draw beautiful images. Those crosshatches and feathers are well done. They're inked at the right places.Β

Great work! Β What do you use for those fine hatching lines, nib? Β I always struggle to find the right tool to get consistent hatching.

I'm pretty sure I was hatching with a nib here. A fresh micron can give decent hatching but I think the nib's the cleanest.Β

Thanks, I just got back into nibs and brushes after doing strictly microns and brush pens. Β Just gotta put in the hours and tame the beast.

It's great. It's ok to mix it up, man. Draw flashy sometimes, draw clean sometimes. Both look great. Love this one!

I'll be in the city but I'm not sure yet in what capacity I'll be at the show. But if I'm in artist's alley it'd be great to drop by and catch up!Β

That's a cool shape you gave the swhirling smoke. Almost looks like towers of toothpaste.

trying to clean up my act a but. Inking like a slob is too seductive sometimes and I don't wanna be a one trick pony.Β
